Course Transfers

Effective Date: 12th May 2026

At GLO Salon & Academy, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. Our Course Transfer Policy has been designed to offer flexibility while protecting course availability, educator

scheduling, and academy operations. By booking a course with GLO Salon & Academy, students agree to the terms outlined below.

Course Transfer Requests

Students may request to transfer their booking to an alternative course date subject to availability and academy approval.

All transfer requests must be made:

• In writing

• By email

• Within the required notice period

Transfers are not guaranteed and remain at the discretion of GLO Salon & Academy.

Notice Period for Transfers

More Than 14 Days Before Course Date

Students who request a transfer more than 14 days before the course start date may:

• Transfer to another available date once only

• Retain payments already made toward the new course date

Transfer requests are subject to:

• Course availability

• Educator scheduling

• Academy approval

Less Than 14 Days Before Course Date

Transfer requests made within 14 days of the course start date may:

• Incur a transfer fee

• Be declined

• Require a new booking deposit

This is due to:

• Limited training spaces

• Educator scheduling

• Course preparation costs

• Loss of potential bookings

Transfer Fees

GLO Salon & Academy reserves the right to charge an administration or rebooking fee for late transfer requests.

Transfer fees may vary depending on:

• Course type

• Notice provided

• Course duration

Number of Transfers Allowed

Each student booking is permitted:

One Course Transfer Only

Additional transfer requests may result in:

• Loss of booking

• New deposit requirement

• Full new course payment

Non-Transferable Circumstances

Transfers may not be permitted for:

• No-shows

• Failure to attend

• Arriving excessively late

• Failure to complete the course

• Last-minute cancellations

• Online courses already accessed

• Courses where kits/products have already been dispatched

Course Expiry

Transferred bookings must be used within:

6 Months of Original Booking Date

Failure to rebook within this period may result in forfeiture of all payments made.

Kit & Product Transfers

If a course includes a professional starter kit:

• Kits already dispatched are non-refundable

• Additional shipping fees may apply for rescheduled dates

• Product substitutions may occur based on stock availability

Academy Course Changes

GLO Salon & Academy reserves the right to:

• Reschedule courses

• Change training dates

• Change educators

• Amend course formats if necessary

If the academy changes a course date:

• Students will be offered an alternative date

• Existing payments will transfer automatically

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, transfer requests may be reviewed individually at management discretion. Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.

Approval of exceptional transfers is not guaranteed.
