Student Attendance & Late Arrival Rules
1. Expected Arrival Time
• Students are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of their class or practical session.
• This allows adequate time for setup, preparation, and attendance registration.
2. Late Arrival Definition
A student will be considered late if they arrive:
• After the scheduled class start time
• Unprepared for the session
• Without required kit, uniform, or materials
3. Entry Cut-Off Time
• Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be permitted to join the session.
• This is to avoid disruption to teaching and practical demonstrations already in progress.

• Second occurrence: Written warning
• Third occurrence: Meeting with academy management
• Continued lateness may affect:
- Course completion

- Future bookings or enrolment
5. Practical & Client Sessions
• Students who arrive late for client appointments or assessments may lose the opportunity to complete that session.
• Where applicable, missed practical work may need to be rebooked at an additional fee.
6. Notification of Delays
If delayed, students must notify the academy as soon as possible by:
• Telephone
• Text message
Notification does not guarantee entry into the session but helps the academy manage schedules effectively.
7. Trainer & Staff Expectations
All educators and staff are also expected to maintain punctuality and professionalism to support a positive learning environment.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
The academy understands that emergencies can occur. Exceptions may be considered for:
• Medical emergencies
